We work as a largely conceptual and investigative office that looks to antagonize perceived norms in regards to design assumptions employed by an array of fields from Architecture to Graphic Design.
Mobile Modularity
Mobile Modularity is a series of works applied to contemporary notions of modular. The focus on flexibility of object and space encourages new thinking in regards to systems, materials, production, and design. There is a focus on infusing each piece with a piece of dna so as to easily integrate into a larger family of objects through variable means. The use of casters, magnets, clips and latches, velcro and more, helps define the flexible nature of the pieces and their larger relations.
Direct Reuse
The idea of sustainability has been largely been reduced to a correlation to recycling, clean energy, pre-fab, and electric cars. While these topics are of some importance we believe the two primary operatives in the recycling circle are the ideas of Reducing and Reusing. With direct re-use it is out intention to find, through the use of digital fabrication, opportunities to reconsider life-cycle and repurpose.
